For Livingston School Teacher and Native, ParkVue at Livingston Remains a Joy To Call Home

LIVINGSTON, N.J. — Sometimes, people who spend their adulthood in the same town where they grew up do the same things they’ve always done, with the same people they’ve always known.

For Greer Gelman Lapinson, though, returning to her native Livingston was different. She moved into ParkVue at Livingston in 2017, where she continues to find joy in being a part of a vibrant and thriving community.

“So many of the people that lived here from the beginning when I moved in are still here,” Gelman Lapinson said. “I’ve made a lot of friends — people who, if I need anything, I can call in an instant. It really has become a community.”

Gelman Lapinson has been deeply connected to the greater Livingston community for years. She has taught kindergarten at Collins Elementary School in Livingston the entire time she’s lived at ParkVue. She previously lived in New York City before moving back to Livingston approximately 15 years ago. Leading up to her move into ParkVue, she took part in community efforts such as the cancer research fundraiser Cycle for Survival while being admitted to the Livingston High School Hall of Fame.

And as a ParkVue at Livingston resident, she continues to expand her horizons and build new connections.

“It’s really fun to see new, young-minded people move in,” she said. “We’re seeing a lot of new community members, and I think this is a great starting place for them. It truly is a warm, wonderful community.”

Gelman Lapinson moved into ParkVue at Livingston after nearly a decade renting at an older complex nearby. She was struck by ParkVue’s luxury amenities, well-landscaped grounds, and picture-perfect residences.

“When you walk around the grounds, everything is as beautiful as the day I moved in,” Gelman Lapinson said of life at ParkVue at Livingston. “The grounds are gorgeous, and the management cares about what they do and the people who live here.”

Since becoming a ParkVue tenant, Gelman Lapinson has gotten married, and she and her husband are so happy at the complex that they’re considering upgrading to a larger unit.

“I always say it is, for lack of a better word, easy living,” Gelman Lapinson said of why she and her husband love ParkVue so dearly. “I feel that management puts their heart and soul into the development — everything is so well-maintained.”

The care poured into ParkVue at Livingston is clearly apparent within each unit. The community’s one- and two-bedroom models feature large living space, an in-unit washer and dryer, an oversized tile shower, a balcony/patio in select units, a walk-in closet, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living, and dining areas. Residents also access secure underground parking and video intercom security with their units.

“Whether I’m home by myself or with my husband, I always feel safe,” Gelman Lapinson said. “There are cameras everywhere. I’ve never had an issue with security or feeling nervous coming home by myself late at night. It’s a very safe, well-maintained community.”

Beyond the apartment, ParkVue offers residents open community living designed for exploration and relaxation, featuring winding outdoor scenic paths, a barbecue and picnic area, a state-of-the-art gym, a heated outdoor pool, and a spectacular clubhouse—all set within lush landscaped grounds.

“I use the gym, I use the pickleball courts, and everything is always clean and well-run,” Gelman Lapinson said. “I never have an issue having to wait for machines at the gym. There’s always something available for us to use. It’s the same with the pickleball courts — always available.”

Even with all the amenities and high standards of living, it’s the people of ParkVue that keep Gelman Lapinson the happiest.

“We have our own little ParkVue family,” she said. “It really is beautiful. It’s just so nice to be in a community, within the community where I was born and raised, and where I work.”

Squiretown Properties, and the family behind the creation of ParkVue, are deeply rooted in Livingston. Their pride in Livingston’s exceptional lifestyle is clearly reflected in their commitment to meticulous details in every part of ParkVue at Livingston.
